Only on the tops of the mountains and did not stay for long but there were some great cloud formations.
Part of being a Brecon Beacons Ambassador is going on days out to learn more about the park to pass on to our visitors. Today Alan Bowring took us to waterfall country to see the waterfalls and the geology surrounding them. As ever he pointed out things which I would never have understood or even seen. The weather was not too kind and by the end of the walk I was very wet but still had a sense of achievement. The pictures reflect the conditions that day but hope you can visit and enjoy them on a warmer dry day.

As part of the Agincourt 600 celebrations the ambassadors went on a trip to Tretower Court by bus from Brecon. This was my first visit having driven past it hundreds of times without any idea of the beautiful house next to the tower.
They have stood on this spot in various guises for 900 years and are now maintained by Cadw. The curator brings the place alive with his detailed knowledge of life in those days.
