The main attraction has to be the surrounding hills and mountains be it on foot, bike, canoe, horse, or stargazing the choices are endless. There is a very useful digital guide by Brecon Beacons Tourism if you like to find things on the go.
A calendar of events in and around Brecon can be found on the Visit Brecon website. This is our local tourist office which is located in Lion Yard between Morrisons and the Co Op
One of the best guides to walking, wild swimming and waterfalls of the Brecon Beacons is by Chris Knight. He also has a you tube channel where you can see him in action guiding you to some of the less well known parts of the park.
There are numerous events throughout the park from agricultural shows to dark sky events, re-enactments and food festivals. A good place to find information on the Brecon Beacons activities is the Brecon Beacons site.
You will find an up to date selection of brochures in the Coach House.

Dark Sky Wales hold regular events there if you do not have your own telescope or just want to join in with others. Alternatively just sit in our swing seat and look up!
