COVID 19 Procedures & FAQ
Booking and Payment
A 25% deposit will be required to confirm your booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. This will be constantly reviewed based on the most recent advice on the pandemic.
Full refunds will only be provided for Covid related cancellations due to local or National lockdowns. It is strongly recommended that you take out travel insurance to cover all other reasons for cancellation including contracting Covid or having to self isolate. This additional cover is now being offered by several travel insurance policies. Otherwise our normal cancellation procedures apply.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival time is 4pm. If the property is ready earlier, I can let you know by a text message. Departure will remain at 10am but I must ask that you adhere to this.
On departure I would ask that you to place the duvet cover, sheet, and pillowcases in one green laundry bag (on top shelf of wardrobe) and all the towels and tea towels in the other. Mattress and pillow protectors can be left on the bed and I will remove them after your stay. Leave the bags in the bathroom.
Cleaning and Sanitising
In addition to our normal cleaning we will be sanitising the property in accordance with guidelines and best practice. Details of these are available together with the Covid risk assessment if required. I do provide bottles of hand soap and washing up liquid and will also provide a small bottle of hand sanitiser if required. I will be rotating all bedding, towels, cushions, shower curtain and oven mits.
Meet and Greet
I do meet and greet my guests on arrival.
The welcome pack does include items like tea, coffee, and sugar in small glass jars that I have filled from larger packets. There is also a range of oils and condiments. If you would prefer that these items are removed please let me know together with any other items from the list which I will provide.
