Today I went on a sour dough bread course at The Bakers’ Table in Talgarth Mill. This is a restored 18th century flour mill powered by the flow of the River Ellywe. There are tours of the mill and a cafe serving their own bread made with their own flour. Plenty of things to buy and take home. I can recommend the small classes for both beginners and experienced home bread bakers. You go home with lots of bread as you can see. A great day with John and baker Nicola.
