Blaen Y Glyn Waterfalls
The Blaen Y Glyn waterfalls may not be the biggest or fastest in the Brecon Beacons but offer a beautiful alternative.
They are situated just up the valley from Talybont on Usk. There is a lower and upper car park about 1 mile apart up the river. Some of the falls are just off the main track. Beside the first waterfall is a concrete bridge going over the water pool and up a slightly steep track. It can get a little bit slippery. Further up there is a wooden bridge to cross at the main waterfall. At this point you can choose to loop back to the first car park.
The path continues and becomes steeper as you pass more waterfalls on your way to the top car park. Both of these car parks are free. Whilst popular you will not meet the large crouds found at the 4 waterfalls trail.
