A cleared deposit of 25% is required by bank transfer (preferred method) , credit card or personal cheque to make a confirmed booking.The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. Payment in full is required for all bookings within 8 weeks of arrival. Payment can be made by bank transfer (preferred method) , credit card or personal cheque (details provided on request). At the time of booking the following information will be required to complete my registration form regardless of the booking platform used.
Name and address of all guests. Lead booker e-mail address and contact telephone number.
Cancellation: If you cancel your booking up to 8 weeks before arrival the deposit will be refunded less a £35 administration charge if we are able to re-let the property. If you cancel the booking within 8 weeks of the arrival date the booking value, or rebooking value if less, will only be repaid, minus a £35 admin charge if we are able to re-let the property. We therefore strongly advise obtaining comprehensive insurance to cover the possibility of cancellation. All refunds will be repaid by BACS unless you prefer it be refunded to the card you paid with. If we cancel a confirmed booking, our liability, is limited to the return of all payments received.
COVID-19: It is strongly recommended that you take out the appropriate travel insurance which is available from many insurance companies. My normal terms and conditions apply to Covid.
Internet Mobile reception and TV: WiFi is provided in the Coach House but we cannot guarantee the service for circumstances outside of our control. The mobile signal is improving but getting a signal depends on the provider you use. Use of the land line telephone in our house is possible if required. The freeview satellite TV signal can also be affected by our rural location.
Occupancy: The property is designed for 2 adults but a small baby is welcome provided you bring the necessary cot etc. No pets. Each booking should be in the name of one person who will be responsible for the actions of all members of their party.
Smoking: We operate a strictly non- smoking policy, including e cigarettes within the building. Smoking outside away from the buildings is allowed with safe disposal of ash and butts.
Candles and other naked flames: The burning of candles, tealights and any other naked flame is strictly prohibited within the property. Only proper use of the log burner lit with the lighter or matches provided. The log burner door must remain closed during use as it is not designed as an open fronted fire.
Breakages: Any breakages beyond reasonable wear and tear will be charged at the cost to replace. Please notify us immediately so that we can rectify the situation without delay.
Problems with the property: Any problems with the property must be notified to us immediately in order to give us time to rectify. In these cases access to the property will be required.
Washing and Drying clothes: Available in the main house and charged at £5 per load.
Electrical Items: Guests are asked not to bring their own electrical items other than small personal items like phone charges or hair dryer. If in doubt please ask me.
Electric Cars: We have a 7kW Zappi Untethered EV Charger available for you to charge your electric vehicle with your own cable. It is charged at 35p per kWh, payable in cash or bank transfer during you stay. In addition there are public charging points in the Morrisons car park.
Cleaning: Please leave the property in a clean and tidy state. We reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning which we consider to be outside the norm.
Longer Stays: For stays of 14 days or more a linen and towel change will be done every 7 days along with an optional clean.
Arrival and Departure: Arrival time is from 4pm and departure no later than 10am in order to prepare for our next guests. Please enquire if you require an earlier arrival or later departure.
Losses: We cannot accept liability for any loss damage or expense of any kind sustained by a member of your holiday group in connection with Aberyscir Coach House, whatever the cause might be, including negligence, except where such loss, damage, or additional expense is the result of proven negligence of ourselves.
Data Protection Act: Personal details obtained during the booking process are stored on our computer. We will endeavour to keep this information secure and will never share it with a third party. We will not contact you with offers and information in the future without your explicit agreement. More information can be found on the privacy policy.
Force Majeure: We cannot accept liability or responsibility for any alterations, delay or cancellation or any other loss or damage caused by war, civil strife, terrorist action, industrial disputes, fire, sickness, bad weather, livestock, epidemics, pandemics, acts of any government, or public authority, changes imposed by re-scheduling of airlines, ferries or any event outside our control.
Variation: We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms or conditions without notice.
