Whilst it is sad to see another pub closing in Brecon the building has been renovated and is now the home of Brecon Tandoori.
It sits on the banks of the Usk river beside the Llanfaes bridge with outside seating for those warm evenings.
The interior has a bright airy feeling with colouful bench seating around the outer wall and more conventional seats elsewhere. There are 2 dining rooms with the bar between. Having only just opened we would advise booking but on the evening we went there were tables available.
It has an extensive menu which should accommodate all tastes whether you like your curry hot or mild. The take away menu has a discount offer for orders over £20.
The staff were very quick and efficient despite being quite busy.
The meal arrived piping hot and beautifully presented. We had opted for medium hot but could have chosen hotter, so maybe next time.
All in all a pleasent meal out and would definately recommend to our guests.
