Craft brewries in the Brecon Beacons
We are lucky to have a selection of craft brewries in the Brecon Beacons and the surrounding areas of Wales. One of the best things to do in Brecon Beacons – drinking local Welsh Beer!
Antur Brew Co
Antur Brew Co have just moved premises to Crickhowell and the tap room and brewery shop now open
Every beer is produced on site and available to purchase directly from thier brewery shop. All beer-lovers are welcome to visit their Brecon Beacons tap room for a beer, purchase bottles or just pop in to talk all things beer and brewing!
Their five core Welsh beer range is brewed with the highest quality ingredients, right down to our Welsh water. Taking inspiration from their favourite local landmarks within the Brecon Beacons National Park to create their modern core styles.
Brecon Brewing
Brecon Brewing has been using the fabled waters from under the Brecon Beacons National Park. The range really does have something for everyone. There Bitters, Golden Ales, Lager and Pale Ale styles including Welsh, Indian and American. Evwn the frighteningly named Mind bleach and Choc-y-wocky, the choice is wide but the quality shines through every one!
Places to try our local brews
You can visit the brewries themselves but there are several places in Brecon to enjoy your pint whilst having a meal.
One of the best places for ‘a pie and a pint’. They have a large range of ales to accompany your locally made pie. Some evenings there is also live entertainment or sit outside and enjoy the evening sunshine.
Not only a great range of craft beers but a whole book of gins! You can enjoy these beside a Spanish Tapas menu. All set in a tiny terraced house where tables and chairs occupy the old bedrooms.
